Garlock California

Garlock California is a small road-side ghost town located on a desolate stretch of Garlock Road near Randsburg. There isn't much to see in Garlock. There is a State of California Historical Marker and a few fenced off, abandoned structures. Part of the former townsite is on the property of an individual who likes posting signs with what might be political messages along with no-tresspassing signs. There is an inhabited compound a few hundred feet away from the townsite. There are a few other abandoned wooden structures scattered around the desert in the area in addition to the ones I have photos of here. If you're heading from Mojave to Trona or Death Valley-- Garlock Road to Trona Road is a nice short cut.
