The National Museum of Health and Medicine has moved to Silver Spring Maryland from it's former location in the Walter Reed compound in the District of Columbia. These pictures are from a visit to the Walter Reed location in 2007. I have not been to the new museum. The old location was great because it was free and really out of the way so almost no one ever went. It was wonderfully empty and full of truly disturbing exhibits and things floating in jars of formaldehyde. Not sure what the new place is like.
