Seneca Oregon
Seneca Oregon
This interesting steel cone is almost all that remains of an abandoned lumber mill North of the small town of Seneca Oregon. These structures were known as wigwam burners. They were used to contain embers and ashes from the burning of waste wood and sawdust. The entire structure would have been enveloped in smoke while in use. It's just West of highway 395 and visible from the road.
