Boggsville is the site of a former town, preserved and maintained as the Boggsville National Historic District. It's just a few miles Southeast of Las Animas Colorado. Boggsville's existence as a town was brief. It was inhabited from 1862 until around 1877 reaching a population of a hundred or so at it's peak. There isn't a whole lot to see at Boggsville at this point. There are two restored buildings (homes) and a couple of falling down wooden structures. The park has a developed interpretive trail and bathrooms.
